This text enables students of electrical and computer engineering to grasp and apply principles of digital signal processing (DSP) through real-time implementation of experiments and projects. Chassaing (real- time DSP, Worcester Polytechnic Institute) presents accessible theoretical discussion followed by representative examples using Texas Instruments' TMS320C6713-based DSP Starter Kit. In total, 105 programming examples are provided, most using C code, but some using assembly code, demonstrating how the TMS320C6x processor is used in applications such as communications, controls, and speech processing. A final chapter offers 22 projects.
