After teaching environmental classes at universities in Seoul and Bangkok for three years, and lecturing in U.S. and European universities, Bashkin (Moscow State U.) realized that most textbooks on environmental pollution rely heavily on North American and European examples. Bashkin's textbook features mainly data from the Asian region, and will be particularly appealing to English-speaking Asian students in basic and applied environmental chemistry courses.
