Einstein: His Life and Universe
Walter Isaacson
I didn't want a review of his scientific work. But I did want to know about his personal life. I haven't finished the book. I've jumped around reading highlights. I have the feeling this book was painstakingly written for an accurate Einstein. I was pleased to learn about his decisions and values. His father was the owner of an electric power plant. His father offered an engineering position that he didn't force on his son, Einstein. If you read the book you will see what decisions he made, what kind of jobs he pursued and what he valued. He is a role model for others because of his what he believed in. I visited Bern Switzerland where he lived and sought citizenship in after he graduated college. I stood in his home which is now a museum. They have many swiss army knife stores. He wanted to do bicycle tours biweekly. Such a beautifly country.
