Heat and Thermodynamics
M. W. Zemansky, Richard H. Dittman
I used this book in my undergraduate thermodynamics/statistical mechanics course. I found it to be quite good. It's fairly easy to read and provides enough detail to give the reader a good understanding of the material.
The exercises are challenging enough to be useful, but not so difficult as to leave the reader feeling hopeless. I don't recall coming across many (if any) errors in the text or in the solutions. Perhaps the other reviewers who found lots of problems simply didn't understand how to arrive at the correct answer.
